Clair Bidez

Clair Bidez, the little girl from Vail, CO surprised nearly everyone at the 2006 Winter X Games with a 4th place SuperPipe finish in only her second appearance. 2006 was Claire's breakout season with her strong finish at Winter X Games, another 4th place at the FIS World Cup in Lake Placid, NY. Plus, she won the Junior World Snowboarding Halfpipe Championships in April 2006 in Korea. The former ski racer traveled to New Zealand in the 2006 summer, and, unfortunately, fractured her left foot on her last run in the Burton NZ Open Halfpipe in August. She returned to snow in November 2006 and says she feels 100% and admits to being much stronger physically and psychologically.
