Hawk and Hoffman Light Up Dallas
Nov 02 2006 / Dallas, TX
“I’m really excited to be a part of the LG Actions Sports World Championships,” said Hawk. “ The event brings together all the top pros in skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross and some great bands under one roof.”
And while neither Hawk or Hoffman competed in this weekend’s event, the two did put on one of the most anticipated performances of the Championship weekend. The highlight of their demo was Hoffman dropping in at the same time with Hawk on the Vert ramp and throwing out a no-handed 540 over Hawk doing a super smooth Smith grind at the same time. These are guys proved that they are still the best in their respective disciplines and can still throw down the big tricks.
Hawk and Hoffman had other guests with them on the ramp. Chad Kagy and Kevin Robinson showed up to do a little synchronized performance of their own. Kagy won the BMX Vert Prelims on Saturday going into Sunday’s Finals in 1st. Jean Postec also guested on the ramp with the gods of the skate and BMX. The energy on the ramp was completely electric with such big heavy hitters.
