Corey Bohan made X Games history today when he became the first rider ever to win three consecutive BMX dirt golds. Ryan Nyquist took second, and Anthony Napolitan found his way to third.  But corey's three-peat the only surprise at today's BMX dirt final - the last hit of the triple line saw a gorgeous 180 thrown over it, and Nyquist was helped into second by his 720 bar-spin.  Cameron White, who ended up in ninth place, did have a redeeming hit in his run and that was a triple tailwhip.

Corey's winning run was done using the triple line and consisted of a no-handed, one-footer to tail whip, a one-footed table 360 and a bar-spin tail whip.

The dirt was hard and the flips & whips flowed like water but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, especially Mr. Bohan when he got to do a glory run after winning on his first run score.  Corey smiled and surely sighed with a bit of relief - this was probably going to be the first run he'd done all day with no flips, whips, or spins in it.  Just a casual nothing on the first hit, and a glorious look back on the last.
