Anthony Napolitan, Cameron White, Luke Parslow and Ryan Guettler were among the riders to take advantage of today's practice session and show that they possess all of the indregients to make an epic BMX Dirt final. The course is split up in two, a double line (with two jumps), which you get to by way of a standard roll in, and a triple line (with three jumps) which you have to use the gap-drop-in to get to. These guys are packing four tricks into the gap-drop-in/triple line, and they are going off - transferring, flipping, spinning, and all the rest of the absurdity that has become the norm at BMX dirt competitions.
Napolitan is already throwing down clean, first hit, no-handed front flips, and the course has seen its fair share of double tailwhips, tailwhip backflips and barspin variations...and this is only practice.
Some of the riders have said that the dirt is hard (it does slightly resemble cement in texture & color) and it is a bit odd that there is only one triple line (and that the riders only have one way to get to it), but no one is complaining. The course is solid and it doesn't seem to be giving anyone too much trouble. From what went down in practice today, it seems that the course is only enhancing & making possible all of the crazy ideas that these guys already have in their heads.
